Levels

Not all community members come to us in the same place. We all have different backgrounds, comfort levels, and experience. This section is intended to provide our community members with a guide as to what level of class would be best suited for them. We always encourage community members to talk with us for further clarification as well.

Sock Hop
Approximately once a month we will be hosting a Sock Hop. We will have a brief 30-minute lesson at the start of the night followed by social dancing. Community members can come to socialize, dance, and to observe other dances. No experience necessary, all are welcome.

Level 1: Total Beginner
Classes at this level are intended for people with “two left feet”, with “no sense of rhythm”, or who are otherwise worried about being “the worst dancer in the room”. If you “don’t dance” this is the right level for you to start at. Typically taught in 2-week series.

You can find classes of this level for: Country Two-Step, Lindy Hop, Line Dancing, Nightclub Two-Step, Rumba, Tango, Waltz, and West Coast Swing.

Level 2: Newcomer
