Coming Soon

Newcomer Progressive Series

We look forward to hearing the input of our community members as to what dances they would like to focus on. We intend to run more progressive lessons where we will focus on a single dance style for four weeks in a row. The idea is to build skills and promote confidence in a specific dance style. The specific style will change from one progressive series to the next based on the interest of the community members.

These progressive series will be aimed at new dancers looking to build up confidence in a specific dance beyond what the dance sampler offers.

Intermediate Progressive Series

We look forward to hearing the input of our community members as to what dances they would like to focus on. We intend to run progressive lessons where we will focus on a single dance style for four weeks in a row. The idea is to build skills and promote confidence in a specific dance style. The specific style will change from one progressive series to the next based on the interest of the community members.

These progressive series will be aimed at dancers who are more familiar with the basics of a given dance and are looking to build upon the skills learned in the newcomer series.

Social Dances

We expect to have monthly social dance, roughly following the change-over of our series. At these socials we will play music appropriate for the dance styles taught, welcome community members, and spend the evening dancing. Each social dance will begin with a brief introductory lesson to help new community members get out on the floor right at the start of the night. We encourage community members to bring along friends and family to dance alongside them.

These social dances will be aimed at all dancers. Getting out to practice what you have learned in class is paramount to solidifying skills as well as building friendships in the community.
